The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carman Pollock of Nile and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Wilson of R.R. 1 Brucefield. The Reverend Robert G. McMullen, assisted by Mr. George E. Cowan, officiated at the double ring ceremony. Music was provided by Mrs. . Carol Carter. The soloist was Brian Wilson who sang, "You Light . Up My Life" and "Let It Be Me". The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She chose a gown of silk polyester with blouson bodice, high neckline and full length chiffon sleeves, trimmed with lace and small seed pearls. Her three- quarter length silk illusion veil was held in place by a Juliet cap trirnmed with seed pearls and lace. She carried C4 0. in Nile 'United Church a, cascade bouquet of pink roses, white daisies, stephanotis and . baby's breath. Maid of honor was Susan McLean. of Goderich, friend of the bride. She wore a cranberry colored polyester knit gown and carried a bouquet of pink roses, white daisies and baby's breath. She also wore daisies in her hair. Bridesmaids were Linda Feagan of Barrie and Mrs. Heather Martin of Goderich, friends of the bride, and Estella Wilson, sister of the , groom. They were gowned the same as the maid of honor and carried the same bouquets. The little flower girls were Tina Noble and Jennifer Yule, nieces of the bride. Their dresses were pink polyester with white and cranberry docking on them, smocked bodices , and short puffed sleeves trimmed with white lace on the collars and tiered skirts. They carried nosegays of cranberry colored rose buds, stall daisies and baby's breath. Groomsman was Randy Wilson, brother of the groom. Guests were ushered into the church by Mervyn Erb of Brucefield T and John Van Vliet of. Walton,,friends of the groom and Larry Pollock, brother of the bride. The groom and his at- tendants all wore grey tuxedos. Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at the Goderich Town -ship Community Centre. The bride's mother received guests in a powder blue street -length dress of polyester chiffon with a corsage of pink rose buds. The groom's mother chose a dusty rose polyester chiffon street -length dress with a corsage of dusty pink roses. Following a wedding trip to Och Rios, Jamaica, Mr. Sylvia Balfour, a communications consultant from Waterloo, spoke on 'Time Management' at the -first session of the Huron Women Teachers' Association Professional Growth and Self Development course held Tuesday, April 6 at Victoria Public School In Goderich. For the second_ year, par- ticipating dealers and Im- perial Oil,. will hold their "Buy A Thankful Tankful" campaigfx to raise money for physically disabled children in Ontario. For every litre of gasoline pumped on Satur- day, the dealers and Im- perial Oil will donate two cents (nine cents per gallon) to the Easter Seal Society. Donations ' will be for. gasoline sold during the nor- mal Saturday business hours. More than 500 dealers in Ontario have volunteered to make donations from their sales on that day.
