Join the pitch -in campaign Ontario, residents are in= vited to participate in the first week-long "Pitch -In" campaign to be held in On- tario, from May 10 to 16, Doug . Ogston, President of the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, co- sponsors of the campaign, announced. recently. The campaign is also sponsored by Shell Canada Limited and = is endorsed and supported by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment. "We hope that community groups, organizations and - schools across the province will want t9 join with the thousands of residents who will pick up and pitch in to beautify their environ- ment," stated Ogston. The Pitch -In campaign will be held concurrently in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, City of Win- nipeg and Ontario. Schools, local govern- ments, community organiza- tions, and youth groups throughout the province have been sent information kits, inviting them to ,par- ticipate in Pitch -In '82, and to order the. free garbage bags available to groups undertaking Pitch -In fro- jects, courtesy of Shell Canada Limited.
