Seniors stage Variety Concert MacKay seniors held a variety concert, on Friday, December 13. There was a good attendance despite the snowy weather. William Burke played music on tapes before the program started. Mrs. Jaiwt Kalbreisch was chairlady. The McLennan youngsters played several numbers on the accordion. Walt Webster and Mr, Cantelon from Clinton rendered several numbers on the Vital and harmonica. Mrs. George Kennedy gave a humorous reading entitled, "Learning to •Skate," including a number of the seniors in her skating sessionAlArs. Dora Heard from Clinton whistled several tunes accompanied by Mr. Webster. Mrs, Jean Schram gave a reading about Santa Claus. A short film entitled, "The Gift", was enjoyed. A sing -song fed by Harold &tiger with Mrs, Jessup on thepiano, was held. Russell Alton thanked all those taking part in the program and also those responsMe for it, Lunch was served, tea and coffee and Christmas cookies. After hinch the chairs were pushed back and several people enjoyed dancing to Miami Eturke'S music.
