Seniors stage
Variety Concert
MacKay seniors held a
variety concert, on Friday,
December 13. There was a
good attendance despite the
snowy weather. William
Burke played music on tapes
before the program started.
Mrs. Jaiwt Kalbreisch was
chairlady.
The McLennan youngsters
played several numbers on
the accordion. Walt Webster
and Mr, Cantelon from
Clinton rendered several
numbers on the Vital and
harmonica. Mrs. George
Kennedy gave a humorous
reading entitled, "Learning
to •Skate," including a
number of the seniors in her
skating sessionAlArs. Dora
Heard from Clinton whistled
several tunes accompanied
by Mr. Webster. Mrs, Jean
Schram gave a reading
about Santa Claus.
A short film entitled, "The
Gift", was enjoyed.
A sing -song fed by Harold
&tiger with Mrs, Jessup on
thepiano, was held.
Russell Alton thanked all
those taking part in the
program and also those
responsMe for it,
Lunch was served, tea and
coffee and Christmas
cookies.
After hinch the chairs
were pushed back and
several people enjoyed
dancing to Miami Eturke'S
music. A good time was held
by all

luck supper and en-
tertainment for the evening.

Care Program is an active
treatment program funded
by the Ministry of Health

The role of the Rome Care
Co-ordinator is to visit
patients in the county
hospitalsand the community
after they have been
referred to, tui program by
theirfamily physician_
The coordinator assesses
the individual needs of the
patient, informs the patient
and his Imlay regarding the
*grain, 'arranges for the
services for the patient and
discusses the expected
treatment goal with the
physician, patient and his
family.
It is through the co-
ordinator that the level of
health care that the
physician • feels is ap-
propriate is instituted.
