department is inviting
children for another week of
Super Suinmer: Special
Surprises.
On Thursday, August 13,
there will be crafts at Judith
Gooderham Park. Children
eight and under are invited
from 10 a.m. to noon, and
from 1:30 to 3:30, kids nine
and over can join the fun.
This is.free of charge.
On. Friday, from 10 to
noon, ages six to ten can play
active games . and have a
sing song at Harbour Park.
In the afternoon, from 1:30 to
3:30, all ages of kids are
invitedto show their abilities
in a talent show. Prizes will
be awarded.
On Monday,.: August 17 in ,
the arena auditorium, kids
are invited to watch two
hours of films and cartoons
starting at 1:30. Admission
for this event is 50 cents.
Tuesday is going to be a
big day at the GDCI track- A
Mini -Olympics will be held
from 10 a.m to noon for
children eight and under, '
and from 1:30 to 3:30, kids'
nine and over can compete.
This is free of charge.
On Wednesday, all ages
are welcome to play soccer
at Victoria School from 1:30
to 3:30 in the afternoon. Free
of charge.

Bridge club scores
The Goderich. Bridge Club
had eight tables in play last
Tuesday night . and the
average score was 72.
Auleen Curry and. Jean
Papernivk took top honors on
the North South side with
861 points. Mary Donnelly
and Eleanor Erskine were
second with 781 points, and
Kay Duncan and Susan
White were third with 76.
On the East West side,
Arlene Gibbons and Theresa
Donatis came in first with
821/ points. Louise
Hetherington 'and Pat
Stringer were next with 80
points, and Frank and Jim
Donnelly had 75 points to
take third.
