Public speaking was an event enjoyed by everyone. Unlike most schools, cash • • prizes were give to all who participated and the winners received an extra cash bonus which Originates from the Garvey Public Speaking Fund Another day' which we all enjoyed were the awards days. Receiving the awards was a pleasure but, the best part was competing against our classmates to try and beat them. The many fairs we entered were always days of fun.
