and Langlois posted nothing

scoreboard until the bottom
of the seventh
Myles Murdock `bunted his

set the stage for Courtney
who singled up the middle to
win the game. It was only the
fourth hit off Langlois who
fanned four while Courtney
gave up five hits, three of
them to Len Kolkman, and
struck out four batters.
McGee Pontiacs returned
to their winning ways with
an 8-2 thrashing of Green and
Parent Friday as well 'as
coming from behind to tie
Lakeport Advertising 4-4 in
nine innings on Wednesday
night.
In Friday's game, McGees
battered Jim Martin and
Darryl Beattie for eight runs
on 16 . hits. Leading the
assault were Paul Bartliff
and Ron Sowerby who had
three hits apiece. Doug
Spitzig added °a two -run
homer in the four -run sixth
hitting. Leading G&P were •
Steve Frayne, Rick Whet-
stone, and Brian Rumig who
had two hits apiece.
In Wednesday's tie with
Lakeport Advertising, the
feared bat of Ron Klages
came to life as he collected
four hits including a clutch

Lakeport had a golden
opportunity to win the game
in the ninth .when Greg
Hansen, who collected three
hits in the game; and Bill
Gallow both singled with no
one out. But Ken Daer shut
the door on them to preserve'
the tie.
