Cobras still undefeated
BY BRUCE BAKER
As the men's slo-pitch
league draws near the end of
the first round of play this
year, we find a new C divi-
sion team, the Cobras, the
only undefeated team in the
18 -team league.
Sundaynight the Cobras
unleashed their bats and
hammered Champco for 19
rims .on 25 hits. If offence is
the way slo-pitch is played
then they'vegot it.
Defensively they appear to
have their fair share of
talent as well. They held
Champco to no runs on eight
hits. The only team so far
this year to give the Cobras a
real run has been Tickers. 1.
don't like early predictions
but after watching Sunday's
game I'd have to pick the
Cobras to finish first in that
division.
The Cobras will play their
next 12 -games against divi-
sion A and B teams before
rounding out the schedule
with five games in division
C. Realistically the
undefeated string will soon
end but watch for them to
make a good showing in the
inter -divisional play.

Milverton tied it up in the
fifth inning when Vicki miles
got on base through an error

The visitors had the Little
