upon record after three
games, the • midway ,point of
the league schedule.
Tuesday's game against
Wingham was played in a
downpour of rain . which
made ball control difficul'
for both teams, but the
Vikings maintained a clear
territorial edge in play.
The game was scoreless at
half-time but Mark Crawford
put the Vikings on the
scoreboard when his shot
went off the Wingham
keeper's hands and into the
net early in the second half.
Greg Marshall got the other
Goderich goal on a scramble
in front of the Wingham goal.
In Stafford, the Vikings
were hardpressed to come
out on top. The Huskies were
undefeated in three games
going into Thursday's
contest. They controlled play
in the first half and exerted a
lot of pressure on, the Vikings
in their own end.
