the semi-finals in OMHA
playoffs but lost their first
two games in the semi-finals
to Stoneybrook • in a three-
out-of-fiv a series. •
Goderich defeated Sarnia
Township 6-2 in the township

the scoring for Goderich four
minutes into the first period
on an assist from Scott
Garrow. The second goal
was scored by Garrow
assisted by Leppington.
In the second period
Darren Stanbury scored a
third goal for Goderich on an
assist from Bill Whetstone
and David Brown. Garrow
then.made it 4-0 for Goderich
on an assist from Leppington
and .3 Ph Kelly.
Before the'second period
was over, the township had

keep Goderich in the game

when the team seemed to
have trouble adiusting to a
different arena and ice
surface. The Goderich boys
settled down and played
better in the third period,
outscoring Stoneybrook 3-2.
The third, and perhaps
deciding, game of the semi-
finals will be played in
Goderich tonight (Wed-
nesday) at 7 p.m. If Goderich
wins, they will travel to
Stoneybrook on Thursday
nighte�tfor a 7:30 p.m. game. If

will be played back in
Goderich.
Bridge scores
The Goderich Bridge Club
played a seven -table Howell
game on Tuesday night with•
the average score being 70.
On the East -West side,
Evelyn Galbraith and
Dawna Sproule placed first
with 82'1/2 points. Barb Howe
and Marian Lane took
second spot with 791 points,
and Cathy MacDonald and
Pat Stringer came in
with 731/2 points.
Mary Donnelly and
Eleanor Erskine combined
to take top honors on the
North -South side 'with 16 -
points. Jean Cook and Verna
Worthy placed second with
821/2 points, and Gord
Rutledge and Rick Somers
had 771/2 points to win third
place.
