The Goderich Signal-Star, 1981-03-04, Page 41After your honeymoon,
make an appointment to
select the pictures for your
album and other uses. Your
parents will appreciate an
album of selected
photographs. And you'll
want enlargements to
decorate your new home or
the office. •
Expect to allow from four
to six weeks for the finished
prints, possibly longer if you
are having a custom framed
enlargement prepared
Ask about the special
occasion cards your
photographer can make for
you:. -Theyare one-sided
cards with room .under the
printed message and
alongside the photograph for
you to write a special
thankyou for gifts.
If you are married in fall
or even summer, "Christmas
gift -buying time will sneak
up on you faster than you
realize. Why not consider
giving wedding photographs
to all those relatives you now
have to buyior? It saves allot
of wear and tear trying to
decide what to buy ' for
whom.
And lastly, before you hire
a photographer, shop
around. Have a look at the
photographer's previous
work and make sure you like
it. Have him check with your
clergyman (or check
yourself) regarding taking
photographs inside the
chur=ch during the ceremony.
Some do not allow this at all
while others allow - a
recreation of the ceremony
afterwards for the purpose of
pictures. And make sure you
get a price list. Don't • be
stunned ,by a huge bill af-
terwards. You will have
enough other things to pay
for.
Some couples, who decide
they can't .afford, a
professional photographer,
assign a relative or friend
with a good camera to take a
number of pictures for them.
This may be cheaper but
there is no guarantee of
qty.
A professional can capture
a romantic pose like this one

Memories can be aptured forever with photos.
Your wedding can live on
forever in professional
photographs of the im-
portant day—if you plan now.
Professional
photographers suggest
brides-to-be reserve their
services at least six to eight
weeks before the ceremony.
And, if the wedding is being
planned for one of the more
popular bridal months --
June, July, August or
December --then its wise to
book your photographer at
the time you make
arrangements for the church
and reception hall.
Whe n y ou . make -
arrangements with your
photographer, r discuss with
him or her the type of
photographic coverage you'd
like•for !be day. If it's to be a
formal ceremony and
reception, you might like a
mix of formal and informal
. photographs to reflect the
mood. For a casual service—
even one outdoors—you may
prefer a totally informal*
candid photographic
'collection.
This is also the time to.
view different photographic
styles. Your photographer
will be able to show you other
wedding portraits and
candids he's made—candlelit
mood images, silhouette
views, even superimposed
photos.- Whatever.. you
choose, you can .be sure of a
quality print when the
finished photographs are
ready.
WEDDING DAY SHENANIGANS, such as. decorating the bride and
groom's car with signs are ideal situations for instant pictures. A
Kodak Colorburst 250 instant camera will help you capture these pre-
cious moments in photographs as a self -developing print displays
the activity. t
