champions. He 'said they
played a good game and
showed true sportsmanship
in the way they accepted
their defeat. Extremely poor
officiating and -rowdiness on
the part of the Lucan
coaching staff and fans
tipped the scales against
Goderich, he commented.
The - game against Lucan
was Goderich's third that
day. The boys met Lambeth
first, defeating them 7-4.
Lambeth scored the first
goal of the garne and then
Garrow scored an. unassisted
goal to tie things up for
Goderich. Lambeth scored

Two horses
attend clinic
Sports Canada sponsored a
second dressage clinic in
London this . past weekend.
Two area horses, Bristol
Cream, owned by Dr. and
Mrs. Desmond Leeper, and
Count Playboy, :owned by
Mr. and Mrs. Keith Homun
were selected to participate
in the clinic.
Both horses, boarded at
the Jeff Seddon Quarter
Horse Farm, did very well.
Mr. and Mrs.. Homun's
quarter horse was the
youngest horse at the clinic
which was given by Cindy
Neale, et member of the
Canadian Olympic Dressage
Team.
It has been enlightening
for riders to compare the
training techniques of the
different members of , the
Canadian Dressage Team,
Bristol and Count will
hopefully attend the third
and . final clinic funded by
Sports Canada in April in.,
preparation for this- year's
show season.
Anyone in the area who is
interested in attending the
next clinic as a spectator
should call Mrs. Marlene
Leeper at 524-4571 for further
information.
