country they were settled in their own farm.

One week later, on April 19,
they arrived at their -new Cana-
dian -home in Ilderton, just out-
side of London.
During their country wide
train trip, however, they had a
four day stopover...in a Mon-
treal jail. Murray enjoys telling
this story because of the shock-
ed look on his listeners' faces,
but there is an easy
explanation.
When they were on their trip
to .Ilderton it was discovered
that the family they were to be
replacing there hadn't had time
to move out, therefore the new
Canadians had to wait for four
days. "They had to keep us
somewhere," Murray said,
laughing.
