A gust of wind made the American steamship 'Roger M. Kyes' first
stop in Goderich Harbour a memorable one. The ship was entering
the harbour April 29 to pick up salt when the winds arose and blew
the steamship over to the new dock on the north side of the harbour,
part of the $17 million harbour expansion project. The ship tied up
at the dock, the first time it has been used, until later in the evening
