SATURDAY, MAY 2 - The Auburn and
District Lion's Club Dance will be held May
2 at the Auburn Community Hall. Music by
Soundtrek, dancing 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Admis-
sion $4 per person. Held under the authority
of a special permit. Age of Majority only.
SATURDAY, MAY 9 - There will be a
Community Garage Sale at the Goderich
Arena from 8 a..m. to 2 p.m. For renting

FAMILY VIOLENCE - The Ontario
Women's Directorate and Survival Through
Friendship House is sponsoring an evening
of Information and discussion on the subject
of' Family Violence in Clinton, Exeter,'
Goderich and Wingnarn. Admission is free
to the event which will begin at 8 p.m. in
each of the town's secondary schools. Dates
of the presentations are: Clinton, Tuesday,
April 21; Exeter, Wednesday, May 13;
Goderich, Tuesday, May 12; and Wingham,
Wednesday, May 6. Panel members include
a family lawyer, police officer, Family and
Children's Services worker and a Delta
men's group leader. Come to find out more
about the community's responsibility in
preventing family violence and the legal
systems now in plate to combat it.
SUNDAY, MAY 3- ' Dungannon United
Church Anniversary service at 11 a.m. Rev.
John Wood will conduct the service. Special
music is planned.

"Things that Go Bump in the Night," was the name of the contem-
porary dance production staged by the Gina Lori Riley Dancers for
students of area public schools at Victoria School on April 22. The
Windsor -based group presented a 40 -minute program of based on
shapes and sounds to the students. The program was sponsored by

The Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Branch 109, held their annual spring
rummage and bake sale Saturday at the Legion. Manning the bak-
ed goods table were Edna Powell, Rose DeMars and Una Watson.
