Harris comes from a dairy farm. whey he is building up his stake in the herd ba ed on his 4-H calves and their progeny. He has won a number of trophies and awards in his 4-H activities. Since graduation, he has assumed herdsmanship respon- sibilities at home. while his father looks after other farm activities. He has also been active in church and athletic ac- tivities in his community. As a student at Guelph, Harris was in- volved in student clubs, athletics. the square dance team and the College Classic' auction sale of purebred livestock.
