The 4th Goderich Invitational Kub-Kar Ral-
ly was 1 held last Tuesday night at North
Street United Church with boysfram 4th and
3r1 Goderich Cub packs taking part. A total
of 56. cars were entered in the rally. In the

Robbie Ball, Jason Straughan, Darrell Crit -
tendon and P.J. Lane show some of the cars

hosted by Agricultur . Society recently
The Dungannon Agricultural Society
hosted another well attended Euchre Tour-
nament on 'SaturdaY, February 14,
With 33 tables in play, Glen Carter and
Allan Shaddick walked away with first
• prize with a score of, 94 in 10 games. A tie
for second place occured When Lynda
McNee and GOrd Riley scored 77 points
and Ken and Wayne Millian did likewise.
After a neck to neck play-off game second
prize went to Lynda and Gord while Ken

RETAIL STORE HOURS ,
The Select Committee oh Retail Store Hours; an all party committee of the Legislative
Assembly of Ontario, will meet to review the issue of Sunday Shopping and Retail Storee
Hours. Specifically, the Conimittee will be addressing rlcessary ,amendments to the
Retail Business Holidays Act in respect of Sundays and Holiday openings, exemptions,
employee protection and penalties. The Committee will conduct public hearings in the
Legislative Building, Queen's Park,. Toronto, Ontario and other locations, as may be
.required, commencing February, 1987..
The Committee invites written or oral submissions from individuals, groups or organiza-
tions wishing to comment On Sunday Shopping and Retail Store Hours. Written submis-
sions,muSt be deposited with,the clerk of the Committee pot later than Friday, March 6,
1987. Requests for an appointment before theCommittef for oral presentations should
be directed to the Clerk of the Committee not later than Friday, February 20, 1987.
When such a request is made pleas indicate whether t]he xesentatiori will be in the
English or French language.

At the December Euchre Tournament,
winners were: 1st, Blaise and Joanne
Doherty, 79 points: 2nd, Cecil and Gordon
Pollock, 77 points: 3rd was a tie between
Alden and Erma Crich and Betty and
Frank Thompson who chose to split the
prize money. Special contest winner was
Mary Rivett woth consolation prizes going
'to. Margaret Errington, Irene Whitmore,
Elton Draper, Tim Hodges, Wendy Rit-
chie, Clayton Ellis and Jack Caesar.
The next Euchre Tourn'ament, will. be
held on Saturday, March 14. • Plan to
attend.
