.In loving memory of our dear mother and grand•
mother Mae who passed away July 26, 1983:
When evening shadows are falling.
We sit quietly alone,
To our hearts there comes a longing,
Wishing Mom you could come home.
We think of the day you passed away
There was little we could do,
But memories never fade away:
For we'll always think of you.
To us you were very special,
And we miss you more each day,
For the saddest day in our life.
Was the day you passed away.
Always remembered and sadly missed by
daughters Joan. Helen. Roberta and Freda and
families. 29nx

Many the thoughts I give to you
As the long days go by
Thinking of things we used to shore
Just you and I
Sometimes those memories make me laugh
Sometimes they make ene cry
Memories precious to me alone
Memories of you and I
Missed with an ache beyond telling
Mourned with a grief beyond tears

In loving memory of a dear son Richard Allan
Welch who possed away one year ago July 27
1986
Dear lord please take a message
To our loved one up above
Tell Rick how much we miss him
And give him all our love
We do not need a special day
To bring you to our mind4
A day we do not think of you
Is very hard to find
We d give all we own lust to soy
Hi Rick in the same old way
To hear your voice and see you smile,
To sit and talk with you awhile
A million times we ve needed you
A million times we ve cried
If our love could have saved you Rick
You never would have died
They soy time heals all sorrow
And helps us to forget
But time so for has only shown
How much we miss you yet
Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by Mom
and Dad brother and sisters and grandmother

CLOSE CALL FOR CHARLIE
Charlie Bromley was on his way home from a baseball game when
storm struck with force in Blyth. He parked in the driveway of his home, then rethinking
the safety of parking under a large tree, he toured down the street to the Catholic Church.
When he returned home a few minutes later he found that his pick up truck had been crush-
ed beneath a huge poplar tree. (Shelley McPhee Haist photo)
