Garrow-Young
Heather Elaine Young, daughter of Linda
Rutherford of Point Clark and George
Young of Clinton, and Frank Albert Garrow,
son of Thelma Ellerby of Clinton and the
late Gordon Garrow, were married on May
30 at Ontario Street United Church by Rev.
David Woodall. The maid of honor was a
friend of , the bride, Judy Lancaster of
Wingham, and the bridesmaids were Nicole
Casemor of Point Clark, Dora Blake, sister
of the groom from Clinton, and Cheryl
Young, sister of the bride from Point Clark.
Bestman was David Bernard from Clinton
and the ushers were Dwight Cote and Peter
McMahon, both of Clinton, along with
Bradley Young, brother of the bride from
Point Clark. The flowergirl was Erin Young,
a cousin of the bride from Chesley and the
ringbearer was a nephew of the groom,
Jonathon Miller of Clinton. The couple will
reside in Wingham.
Garrow-Johnston
Karen Anne Johnston, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Lorne Dale of RR4 Clinton, and David
Paul Garrow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lorne
Garrow of Clinton, were married on June 6
in Londesboro United Church by Rev. David
Snihur. Matron of honor was Linda Bedard
of Hensall, the brides sister and
bridesmaids were Linda Creamer of
Mississauga, sister of the groom and Jean-
nette O'Neill of Ripley, cousin of the bride.
Bestman was Brian Hough of Clinton and
ushers were Rob Van Damme of Clinton and
Randy Garrow of London, brother of the
groom. A reception was held in Blyth Com-
munity Centre and a wedding trip followed
to Niagara Falls and Canada's Wonderland.

Tynd: ill-Dupee
Brenda Ann Dupee, daughter of Ken and
Dorothy Dupee of Clinton, and Kenneth
Daniel (Dan) Tyndall, son of Bill and Irma
Marshall of Clinton, were married on June
27 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church by Father
John Pluta. Maid of honor was Margaret
Dupee of Hamilton, sister of the bride, and
bridesmaids were Lesa Butt of Stratford,
cousin of the bride, Laurie Pruss of London,
sister of the groom, and Jane Symons of
Minden. Flower girl was Kimberly Shelton
of RR2 Goderich, cousin of the bride and the
ringbearer was Dean Pruss of London.
Bestman was Charlie Wise of London and
ushers were Robert Dupee of Clinton,
brother of the bride, Chuck Pruss of London,
brother-in-law of the groom and George Col-
lins of Kippen. Following a reception at the
Stanley Township Community Complex, the
couple honeymooned in Collingwood. They

Dyck -McLeod
Dawn McLeod, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Doug McLeod of Vanastra, and Allan Dyck,
sen of Henry Dyck of Winnipeg and Elsie
Pannabecker of Auburn, were married on
June 13 in Wesley -Willis United Church by
Rev. Jim Bechtel. Maid of honor was
Elizabeth MacAdam of Goderich and
bridesmaids were Kathy Davis and Teresa
Morrison, both of Vanastra. Flower girl was
Carolynn Hermiston of Orrville. Bestman
was Brian Dyck of Auburn al ' 'Ishers were

Valley Hall with a honeymoon to be planned

Thompson - Stanley
Robert Thompson and Colleen Stanley,
both of London, were married at St.
Alban's Anglican Church, London, on May
2 by Rev. G. Dibbs. The groom is son of
Frank and Betty Thompson of RR 2
Bayfield and the bride is daughter of Bill
and Pauline Stanley, Honeysuckle Cres.,
London. Fred Vanderhaar of Bayfield, was
best man. Ushers were Mike Leblanc,
brother-in-law of the bride, Wayne Cerny,
friend of the groom, both of London, and
Dennis Thompson, brother of the groom, of
Bayfield. Dina Monopoli, of London, was
maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Janet
Leblanc, sister of the bride, Nancy
Sargeant, friend of the bride, both of Lon-
don, and Nancy Thompson, sister of the
groom, of Bayfield. Ring bearer was Mat-
thew Stanley, nephew of the bride, of
London.
Local municipalities receive Summer Experience '87 funding
Forty-six municipalities and non-profit
groups in southwestern Ontario will receive
$131,366 in Summer Experience '87 funding,
Ontario Minister of Tourism and Recreation
John Eakins announced.
Locally the Township of Hullett will
receive $1,804 for the summer playground;
the Village of Hensall will receive $2,285 for
creative kids play and the Township of
Tuckersmith will receive $1,126 for Sun n'
Fun.
"The Summer Experience '87 program is
aimed at students aged 15-24," Mr. Eakins
said. "These funds enable municipalities,
recreation, sports and tourism organiza-
tions to hire students who will provide vital
services to Ontario while gaining career -
oriented skills."

Under Summer Experience '87, students
in southwestern Ontario will be involved in a
variety of activities including work as travel
counsellors, researching and planning com-
munity recreation programs, teaching
sports and recreation programs to all ages
and expanding summer recreation
programs.
The Ministry is providing a total of
$548,324 to all five regions in the,province.
Approximately 450 Ontario students will be
hired through this year's Summer Ex-
perience program.
