The Clinton Farm Market Boys softball
team defeated Walton recently by a score of
26-3.
The winning pitchers were Kevin McKay
and .Jeremy Scherle. They struck out eight
batters each.
The top batters for Clinton were Jeremy
Scherle, Kevin McKay, Chris Reihl and
.Jason Phelan with four hits each. Other top
batters with one homerun each were Don
Dolmage, Kurt Kumm and Joey
MacDonald.
The next Mite home game is on June 29
when they host Bluevale.
While rumored that injuries would hamper his performance, Canada's Ross "Rollerball"
Pederson went on to win the championship races at the Hully Gully track on the wee9Lend.
Pederson is rated as the best motocross racer in the country.

Clinton tykes lose 16-3 against Lucan
The Clinton Tykes were defeated last
week by the team from Lucan by a score of
16-3.
Although the team was defeated by such a
lopsided score, the game did have its good
points for the local team.
In the fourth inning Ken Colquhoun got on
base, and he was hit home by Nathan Burns.
Ryan Crawford smacked a double to drive
in Nathan, which left the score at 12-2 in
Lucan's favor.
in the final inning Brian Watson drove in
Clinton's final run on a triple that sent Neil

The boys were also involved in a tourna-
ment. where they were able to win one game
while also losing one. They were victorious
in their game against Milton. but agai'hst
Ajax their luck changed and they lost 16-4
The Tykes' next home game will be on
June 26 against Listowel, and following that
they will host Parkhill on .June 27.
Squirts squeak. by Walton, 10-9
The Oesch Woodworking Squirt Boys soft-
ball team squeaked by Walton in a recent
game by a 10.9 score
The winning pitcher was Jeff Oesch .teff
struck nut seven hatters as well as driving in
the winning run with a two run homer in the
bottom of the fifth inning.
The top hatters for Clinton were Lee Gibb-
ings with a three run homerun, Robert
Mason with a solo shot and Jeff Oesch with
three hits in three trips to the bat.
The Squirts will play their next home
game against Bluevale on June 24.
