HURON CENTENNIAL
CELEBRATES SPRING
In its 20 year history Huron Centennial School has established an
excellent music program, as witnessed when students put on their
r
most recent spring concert. The choir is led by Carol LeBcau and ,
Barbara Cooper.
Tom Sawyer and his fence painting chores were recreated in words and music by
Fayeanne Love. Grade 8 students recalled scenes From "Showboat", originally staged in
1973 at Huron Centennial School.

Paul Brideau played Pinocchio in the Huron Centennial Spring
Concert. The special per formance celebrated the school's 20th
anniversary.
• Dennis Mount played The White Rabbit in scenes from "Alice in
Wonderland". Alice was first ner formed in 1981.
Twenty years in school concert history was staged at Huron Turner; and the king's four princesses - Julie Steckle, Silke Aisen-
Centemtial School recently. Scenes from this play, first staged in preis, Leanne Levis and Carmen Kelly.
1982, featured King Arithmetic - Scott Lobb, Sir Problem, Jonathan
Virginia Van Gorder played the lovely southern belle in scenes from
the Grade 8 production 'Showboat".
