Mr. and Mrs. Richard Snell
Glenyce Bainton, of Blyth, and Richard Snell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ephraim Snell of Hullet
Township, were united in marriage August 18, 1962 at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Clinton.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Likes
Brenda Harrison, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Earl Harrison of Goderich, married
Paul Likes, son of Mrs. Russell Likes of
Arizona and Mr. Russell Likes of Virginia,
on November 30, 1974. in London. The
bride's wedding gown was white satin with
an over dress of scalloped lace with rose
buds on the front yoke and the cuffs of the
sleeves. The neck and cuffs had nylon
sleeves. The head piece was satin and lace
covered with embroidered roses. The train
was cathedral length with a lace edge.
Following the wedding in London, a recep-
tion was held at the Goderich arena. The
three-tier wedding cake had a staircase of
ushers and bridesmaids coming down one
side with the traditional bride and groom in
an archway of lily of the valley on top.

Mr. and Mrs. Werner Albert
Eleanor and Werner Albert were married
on December 9, 1944 in Marktredu itz,
Bavaria, Germany. Many brides of the time
wore a crown of real mistletoe to which their
veils were attached. Eleanor carried a bou-
quet of white cyclamen and fern. Mr. Albert
died in 1985. Mrs. Albert resides in
Goderich.
