Christina, 6, and Jamie Black, 5, were out to enjoy the annual fall
fair put on by Brussels, Blyth and East Wawanosh schools. This
year was the first time in the fair's 66 year history, that the parade
had to be cumulled due to inclement weather. The fair was held at
the Belgrave Community Centre on September 10. The two Blyth
Public School students took a sniff of Lori Armstrong's roses which
were on display. Lori is a Grade 8 student at Blyth Public School.

An interesting display at the fair was the table filled with animals made from vegetables.
Nicole, 7, Daniel, 3, Adam, 5, and their mother, Kate Lipnicki stopped to take a look at
the creations before moving on to the next table. Nicole and Adam are students at East
Wawanosh Public School.
Amber Gelwicks model of pioneers at work looked interesting to six-year-old Jamie Mc-
Callum during the fair. Jamie is a Grade 1 student at East Wawanosh Public School. The
creator, Amber, is a Grade 4 student.
The largest pumpkin ,at the fall fair was grown by Michelle Pletch, a Grade 1 student
