Over 200 entries in the parade, this Saturday afternoon
When the parade passes by, be sure to be
in the vicinity of Varna on Saturday, August
2. at 12 noon.
"Do we have a parade for you," reports
chairman Charlie Kalbfleisch. "The Stanley
Township Sesquicentennial Parade is going
to be the best and biggest in southwestern
Ontario."
The parade will feature bands, antique
vehicles and farm machinery, as well as
dozens of floats representing the commer-
cial, family and religious aspects of the
township.
More than 200 entries are expected to take

Many former students and teachers will
meet and mix at the Stanley Township
School Reunion, to be held on Sunday,
August 3 from 2to 4 p.m. at Huron Centen-
nial School, Brucefield.
Organizer Blanche Parke reports that
there Will be a special table at this celebra-
tion for any special antiques, clippings or
pictures that anyone wishes to display.

10, 10 to 12, 12 to 14 and 14 to 16 -years -old.
There will also be a father's class for
those wider 30, 30 to 40 and 40 and over, and
a ladies class.
Those who would like free practice and in-
struction for the event will find it at Hully
Gully on July 30.
