"Do we have a parade for you," reports chairman Charlie Kalbfleisch. "The Stanley Township Sesquicentennial Parade is going to be the best and biggest in southwestern Ontario." The parade will feature bands, antique vehicles and farm machinery, as well as dozens of floats representing the commer- cial, family and religious aspects of the township. More than 200 entries are expected to take School chums Many former students and teachers will meet and mix at the Stanley Township School Reunion, to be held on Sunday, August 3 from 2to 4 p.m. at Huron Centen- nial School, Brucefield. Organizer Blanche Parke reports that there Will be a special table at this celebra- tion for any special antiques, clippings or pictures that anyone wishes to display. Stanley Township was originally divided into 11 public school sections, with one separate school, one union school and Bayfield. Various changes took place during ATV races set for On August 1, at the Stanley Township Complex, an ATV amateur race will be held to help kick off the township's sesquicenten- nial celebrations.
