CLINTON - The Feast Da? of St. Peter.

the early settlers of Huron County who were
the founders of the, church when Clinton was
still a cross -road harslet.
• Among those visiting for the Anniversary
service were Mrs. George Anderson, and
Vantsouver visitors Tom and Carla Camp-
bell and their son Ian, baby daughter
Kaliegh Anne, (grandchildren of Bob and
Kay Campbell). Kaleigh Anne was baptized

The annual Ham and Strawberry Supper
prepared by the men of St. Paul's B.A.C.
was held on June 25 and was a great suc-
cess. The. perfect. summer... weather.. en-
couraged a great many guests to enjoy their
meal at the picnic tables , on the " lawns. A
happy custom at St. Paul's summer suppers
is the old favourite musical selections being
played on one of. Murray Draper's lovely,
antique music 'boxes.
The 1986 flower garden on the north side of
the church was at its best for the supper par-
ty, and 151st Anniversary service. This
garden is an annual project of Bill Ket-
tlewell's. Each year the theme and colours
are changed. Pink And white begonias,
sweet Alysum, blue petunias, and 'bright
pink geraniums were chosen for this year's
garden. In the autumn before the first frost,
the begonia plants will be given to members
of the parish?, . .._ ..._ . ... _..-
