GODERICH TWP - Robert Kelly appeared
before council on April 21 to request ap-
proval of the water system installed for his
subdivision. The request was carried under
the terms that the water system be accepted
insofar as building permits are concerned.
Council was asked by Doug Yeo to supply
an 8 inch by 11 inch map of the township,
laminated on one side, to be included in the
Family Book. The suggested price to the
township was $375. The motion was carried
that the township endeavour to procure a
suitable map for inclusion in the book.
Mr. Yeo also presented a file folder of the
publicity events taking place in the ses-
quicentennial year, which was accepted by
council and will • be kept on file in the
township records.
James Love asked council's•approval for
the construction of shore line protection
material, and approval of a loan of $15,000 to
cover the costs of the project. The loan was
approved, but is subject tothe availability
of funds.
A municipal drain was requested by Mur-
ray Tyndall and Bert Dykstra. The request
was carried, and the application will be for-
warded to W.J. Bartlett and Associates for
examination and report.
The Clinton Fire Area budget showing a
total of $14,456 as the township's share was
accepted by council.
Council will endorse the presentration
made by L.E. Cox to the Hydro Hearing
Board on behalf of the township.
The clerk was instructed to revise the for-
mat of the Building Permit application, and
to have the fee structure changed from $1
per thousand to $2 per thousand after the in-

had a helping hand.
