Also the United Church Unit 2 ladies ran Bingo on Monday. On Tuesday, Rev. Bob Sinasac of the Dashwood the church service.e Phillipa Std Church eckle was the pianist. the Ceremics Club met. There are only two more weeks left before members take a break for the summer. On Wednesday afternoon the men's Coffee Club had a welcoming party for Theodore Gray. OnFriday the Hensall Public School, On Grades 3 and 4 classes and the school choir put on a program. of children On Saturday afternoon a group from Seaforth and area put on a Variety Show. The show consisted ed of square a dancers, country, no solos, a polka, sword dancers, a step dancer, vocal solos, and a clog jig, and a reel dance. Middleton prepares for Blossom Festival By Blanche Deeves MIDDLETON - Morning Prayer was held in St. Jame's Middleton Anglican Church on May 18 at 9:45 a.m. with- Rev. Bell of- ficiating. At children's time, the Rector spoke to the children about the ree banner er which was hanging at the church. Brad Vanderhaar received Sunday School collection. Bill Steenstra received the offering. The first Apple Blossom Festival ever to take place in this area will occur on May 24. Ceremonies will begin at 10 a.m. atSt. James Middleton Church with the grand opening of the church hall and new kitchen. On hand for the ceremony will be Murray Cartiff, Jack Riddell and Grant Sterling, as well as the Queen of the 1935 Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival. ° 14 which is going to St. Thomas, Port Stanley and back to London to the Garage in London. Seniors plan bus trip By Blanch Deeves HOLMESVILLE - Worship Service was held in the United Church with the senior choir leading in the ministry of music. Rev. Bechtel told the children a story before go- ing to classes. Tam Lobb and Scott Park received the offering. The Enterprising Seniors held their meeting in the hall of the community centre. Edward Deeves opened the meeting. Charlotte Norman took the roll call, and Mr. Deeves welcomed all and the several guests present. Charlotte read the minutes of the last meeting. Frank Yeo gave the treasurer's report. Blanche Deeves gave the card report. Seniors games are to be held in Dor- chester on June 23 and 24.
