CLINTON - The Public Utilities Commis- ' sion received an award from the Electric Utilities Safety Association of Ontario (EUSA) for having a zero accident frequen- cy in 1985 in the 0-15,000 man hours category. EUSA Field Safety Supervisor 'Brian Weber presented the plaque to the employees on May 15. The Clinton PUC previously won the award in 1974, 1976 and 1977. The employees also received a certificate in one losing recognition becauof 14 sea of ears without eanaccident. Manager Gus Boussey estimates that over the 14 years, the men worked 190,000 hours. New Truck A 1986 line -derrick truck has been pur- chased to replace the 1966 model. "We're replacing the old truck because we can not longer get parts for it," explain- ed Mr. Boussey. The truck, which will be used for lifting heavy equipment such as poles and hanging transformers, cost $94,885.
