Gaff Club takes exam By George Wilson The fifth meeting of the Kippfield Calf Club was held- at Scott Cooper's place at -8 p.m. on August 14. The events started with the judging of the cattle and preceeded with the clipping and grooming of ,the calves. After that, members were shown the right and wrong way to show a calf. Members. then went inside and the meeting was called. to order with the saying of the pledge. The meeting minutes were read and adopted by George 'Wilson and seconded by David Hayter. The topic discussed was the Economic of Feeding Beef Cattle. This was presented and prepared by Steven Beane. The infor- mation and facts received were gathered from local farmers: After this there was an exam which members tested their knowledge about 4-H and thebeef club lesson material. During the remainder of the time, ideas were discussed about a presentation project of the Seaforth Fair. The next meeting is at Lawrence Beane's on September 10.
