The cast and crew of GARRISON'S
GARAGE by Ted Johns are gearing up for
another production at the Blyth Festival.
Opening on Aug. 27 and playing through to
Sept. 14 at the Blyth Memorial Hall, GAR-
RISON'S GARAGE then heads out on the
most ambitious and far-reaching tour every
undertaken by the Festival: a seven week
tour spanning two provinces, Ontario and
New Brunswick.
Robert King repeats his hilarious perfor-
mance as Frank,. the mechanic whose idea
of bookkeeping is to throw invoices into the
garbage. Row Gabriel .returns as Bert,the.
councillor with country commonsense, and
David Fox as the almost .evangelical tax
man, Blair Daniels. And, of course, Ted
Johns, author and actor, is Garrison

the cast as Lorna.
GARRISON'S GARAGE is directed by
Katherine Kaszas, the Festival's Artistic -
Director. Critics descried Kaszas' direc-
tion of GARAGE last year as `engaging and
well -paced' (Globe and Mail), `excellent'
(Goderich Signal -Star), and 'masterly'
(London Free Press). The set design,
especially adapted this year for touring, is
by Jules Tonus with the costumes designed
by Festival resident designer, Kerry
Hackett. The lighting design is by Harry
Frehner.
