The first row at the top of the page: there were some strange con-
traptions in the 230 entry sesquicentennial parade and two of them
were driven by these parade clowns, and Tom Penhale's horses
won the heavy horse division. Second row: the Right Reverend
Bishop Townshend honored the sesquicentennial church service
Sunday afternoon with his presence and an interesting message,
the quadra crew from Auburn travelled on another questionable in-
vention, the Carlsbird made friends everywhere he went and Annie
Van Den Heuvel took part in one of the skits performed on Variety
Night. Finally, to the right, the Robin Thompson and family entry
into the big parade made a big hit and collected a prize.
