Reunion
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon McClinchey held a
family picnic on July 14 at the Blyth Lions
Park with 75 present. Those attending came
from Kirkcaldy, Alberta, Ottawa,
Ne*market, Glen Williams, Oakville;
Goderich, Clinton, Lucknow, Auburn and
Blyth.
The pool was a delight to the small
children. Other games were engaged in such
as horseshoe pitching. After lunch many en-
joyed the musical talents of the different
members there.
The Lions Club are to be commended for
the many kinds of facilites they have for
young and old. And a big thank you to the
Lions for the use of their grounds. We had a
wonderful day.

were visitors on Friday with Mr. and Mrs.

Elizabeth Procter visited last week with
her daughter and Son-in-law Mr. and Mrs.
Howard Zettler, Sherry and twins Amanda
and Alicia of R.R. 4 Walkerton. Also visiting
at the same home was Kimberley Mayberry,
of Londesboro.
Doris Scott of Midland has been visiting at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lome Campbell.

Aurora, are p ased to announce the birth•of
their daughte Sophia Louise a sister for
Andrew on July 4 at the Women's College
Chris Royal and Pat Cull practice the Japaneseart of fighting with sticks. The two are

from a two-week tour of England, Wales,
Scotland and Ireland.
The 66 member group, which was hosted
by Mr. and Mrs. Murray Gaunt, Wingham
and Miss Pat Rowe, Hensall, attended a
Medieval banquet provided by Welsh artists
at Ruthin, Wales and a Scottish Evening in
Edinburgh, Scotland.
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Davis of Pickering
were recent visitors with Mr. and Mrs.
Lawrence Taylor.
Mr. and . Mrs. i Garnet ' Dowse of
Cambridge (Galt) were supper guests at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Stonehouse on
Sunday and also visited Charles Johnston of
';Blyth who is a .patient in the Wingham and
District Hospital.
I group: tales countryside tour

WALTON - Eleven ladies of the Walton
Women's Institute enjoyed a car tour on Ju-
ly 17. This was arranged for the Education
and Cultural Activities meeting by the con-
venors, Marion Godkin and Helen Craig,
who were also the drivers for the day.
The tour headed for Bob Chartirs, trout
farm near Teeswater. From there they
visited the Bruce Agri -Mart near Kincar-
dine, where hundreds of tomato and
cucumber pants were grown.

ningham gave the address. The gifts were
presented to the bride by Sandy Verwey,
Cheryl Lapp and Jeremy Vel'wey.
The bride thanked everyone for her many
