This stone house along Hwy. 8 near Goderich (CB/LB) is owned by Douglas and Kathleen
Blacker. It was built in the 1840s by George Brown of stone quarried at the river behind the
house. Often referred to locally as "the Rundle Place", it was acquired by Bundles in 1898
and has stayed in their family ever since, for Kathleen is a descendent. The section to the
left is the servants' quarters.
