As evidenced by the map, there are two tours, each about one and one-half to two hours in length. Tour A will feature some 6f the geological high points of the lakeshore area as well as landscape and architecture highlights 'The tour "will also give people a chance to view some historic and unique township proper- ties. Tour B will feature stops at De Jongs Pond and St. Jades Church, Middleton, Three tours will be offeredduripg the 1-5-0 week. The first will leave Holnaesvil'le Wednesday, July 17 at 6. p.m., the second on Friday, July 19 at 6 p.m. and the final tour on Sunda) , July 21 at 3.30 p.m. The tours have been organized not to con- flict with other events during 1-5.0 week and offer the best seat in the house to people who wish to get a good look at some of the fine properties, restored buildings and land- scape of Goderich Township. Wintario draw show will be aired live from Clinton One of the highlights of. the Goderich Township 1-5-0 celebration July 15-21 will be the airing of the famous Wintario show from Clinton. On Thursday, July 18 the weekly lottery show will be aired live from the Clinton Arena in celebration of the township's Ses- quicentennial. In order to meet the Global Television �letwork's criteria for airing the show, township officials required a facility either the size of the Clinton or Goderich arena. Clinton was chosen for the simple reason that Thursday is race night in Goderich and parking would be at a premium: Regardless, Wintario night in Clinton pro- mises to be an evening of fun and top-flight entertainment. The master of ceremonies for the event is well-known township resident, Gerry Ginn and he will get the evening's entertainment rolling.by 6.30 p.m. The doors will be open at 6 .30 p.m. and Elmer Trick will provide a piano interlude until 7.10 p.m.. At 7.10 the Goderich Township 1-5-0 Choir will entertain with a medly of favorites until . 7.25 when the Preszcator Dancers will entertain for a 10 -minute period. ?so i CONGRATU LATIONS Goderich Township on your 150TH BIRTHDAY Evans Farm Market R.R. The entertainment will con- clude with a 10 minute performance by the Country Companions. At 8.15 p.m., the Wintario crew will stage a pre -draw rehearsal during which time lot- tery machines, lighting and cameras will be double checked. At 8.30 p.m. the pre -draw will be held for small prizes and at 9 p.m. the live Wintario draw will be aired and the number for the major money prizes will be released from the lottery machines. During the telecast, a slide -show featur- ing scenic pictures and historic sights in the township will be aired. Ginn said the Win- tario people commented that the township slide show, just recently completed, was one ofthe finest to be aired. Following the Wintario show, a reception will be held at the Goderich Township Hall, Holmesville for invited guest's aj d dignitaries. .
