With all these activities going on, Bill Crawford and Gary Preszcator will need to have plenty of food on hand, because everyone is sure to work up an appetite. Figuring on half a pound of meat per person, Prezcator said, they are planning to cook between 400 and 500 pounds of beef, making the township barbecue the single largest beef event they have catered. The cooks have enlisted a total of about eight assistants for their cooking team and have already spoken for three open -pit style barbecues to handle the job. The actual cooking is a day -long job for the chefs, who will begin lighting the fires about nine hours before the guests sit down to eat. Bill Crawford and Gary PreZeator':sbar'becae' extravaganzas are always. a hit with the kids.
