Recently, while walking through Caswell -Massey in New York City,
(America's oldest drug store, known for formulating a special cologne for
George Washington) I discovered an Egg ShanToo arum French Li London.
The bottle was attractive. The shampoo looked and smelled terrific but the
price was hurrttic!! Can you Imagine $37 (CDN) tar a lure!!! I don't care if
The Times of London has called French's "The Rolls-Royce of Shampoo,"
(attention Upper Canada Rolls-Royce Owner's Club, "The Times" said
that - not "The Trader.") $37 is too much to pay.
Nuw, ecerytlung I have read about shampoo says that eggs are a wonderful,
natural ingredient because they give hair body, bounce and sheen. But who
wants to pay $37 tor bounce? So, I returned home with the egg shampoo,
gave it n„aur lab technicians and asked thein to analyze it and formulate our
own unique version. That is how we come to have 1 litre bottles of No
Name' Egg Shampoo for only $2.99!! Available: L, LS, NF, Z.
You will also be pleased to learn that No Namee'. Lemon Shampoo and No
Name' Lemon Conditioner are both back in 1 litre bottles, also at only

One of rhe great Things about this country is that so many people
still have a pioneering spirit. Five years..ago, Len & Fran Sarsfield
quit. what they were doing to set up a pie -making plant in the
world-famous Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. They were
committed to making wholesome pies, ones that grandma would
have been proud ro place on her family's cable.
Wt.• thought the quality tut the Sarstielji pies was so good that we
contracted Len & Fran to make - exclusive)}' tor us - a number of
olde-tashioned crisps. YouRrohahly have tried our Apple, Rhuharh,
and Rhuharh-tirrawherry Lrisps. Made with butter, they were good
enough to he called The President's Choice. This summer, we're
introducing two new varieties. The Rhubarb -Raspberry Crisp
has an irresistible sweet -&-sour quality and the Blueberry Crisp
cut for a scoop of Vanilla Haagen-Dazs. Each is 600 g (well
o a pound!) and costs only $2.49. So little for a crisp of
homemade quality! Available in all stores with an in-store bakery.
