winners included: commercial and in-
dustrial - first, Fleming Feed Mill; second -
Henry Baker. Service club - Vanastra Lions,
Clinton Legion. Family or individual - Ralph
Postma, the Dysktra family. Horses or
horse drawn - William Toonen, Lisa Vander
Broeck. School or church entry - Clinton
District Christian School, Central Huron
Secondary School. Antique vehicles - Em-
merson Anderson, 1931 Ford Roadster,
Roger Kelly, 1959 Corvette Roadster. Bicy-
cle of children's entry - C. Koetsier, Smith
Bicycle shop.

decorating contest were Groves TV and Ap-
pliances and Everything Good.
Tina Van Dyke of Bayfield sang The Holy
City in Dutch and baritone Gary
Schoemaker was featured in the sing -along.
Mr. Schoemaker, with organ, accor+an and
piano accompaniment kept the audience
singing and after some 48 stanzas the voices
hadn't weakened. The Battle Hymn of the
Republic and 0 Canada finalized the pro-
gram.
Mike Dykstra endorsed the evening with a
good review of Klompen Feest and closed in
prayer. Coffee was served by Jenny Valken-
burg.
Organizers John Greidanus, Helen
Dykstra and Lois VanReenen hope that the
Celebration of Song will become an annual
event, in conjunction with Klompen Feest.
Other choirs may be contacted next year to
take part in the program.

cheil, two from Seaforth and one from Bluevale entered the competition. Van Dyk will now
represent the club in the annual D.C.C.O.O. Queen competition to be held in Cambridge in
September.
