There was plenty of square dancing for fans at the variety night with three groups of
varying ages dancing up a storrn. Here the Tuckersmith Northern Squares swing
through their steps.
Tie Seaforth Harmony Hi-Lites completed the Tuckersmith Ses-
quicentennial Variety Show May 10 with excellently performed ren-
diticps of three old favorites. In my Merry Old Oldmobile, Steamin'
Down the River and Ain't That Good News. The group has An exten-
sive performing record and plans to make a tour of Great Britain •
next year.
Marcy and Shawna McCall and Carrie Mclawain, The Country Lassies, treated those at-
tending the May 10 variety night at Central Huron Secondary School (CHSS) to a tradi-
tional sword dance.

Lori and Lisa Strong had the honor of introducing a new song to the audience at the
Tuckersmith Sesquicentennial Variety Night May 10. The two sang Tuckersmith
Township is Heaven to Me which extols the beauties of the township.
Nelson Howe and Gladys Van Egmond accompanied many of the performers dancing at the variety night.
