There will be some heel clicking and
high stepping at Klompen Feest this year
as the Shannon Preszcator Dancers take
to the stage. The area's youngest stage
stars will perform on May 18 as part of
the entertainment for the festivities.
The dancers, consisting of six groups,
are taught by 15 -year-old Shannon
Preszcator. Shannon started dancing
when she was eight -years -old and has
been teaching for the past four years. She
riow instructs dancers of various age
groups, some of whom have appeared on
the television show Big Top Talent.
This year's dance groups are the Coun-
try Kids, Chickadees, Clinton Step Pets,
Clicking Trio, Stepping Stones, plus
Shelley Hutching and Anne Tyndall.
The Country Kids consist of Shari
Lobb, Nancy Lobb, Kelly Bosman,
Stephanie Bush and Cheri Taylor.
The Chickadees are Sherri Preszcator,
Jennifer Burt, Jennifer Tyndall and Lisa
Beattie. The Step Pets are Stacey Reid,
Stacy Hicks, Susan Jewitt and Debbie
Draper.
Angela Radford, Heather Royal and
Leanne Wammes make up the Clicking
Trio. Tessa Steenstra, Christy Scott and
Sandra Lobb are the Stepping Stones.
The groups appearing on Big Top
Talent have been the Step Pets, the Coun-
try Kids and the Chickadees, however
some of the group members have chang-
ed since their last TV appearance.
The dancers will be doing some old
time reels, clog, jig and reels and waltz,
clog and reel during their Friday evening
performance. Shannon will also be danc-
ing as part of the entertainment.
