spOnsorrtd by the Huron -Perth !Vea. Canadian Club. The e,ent is bring held to kick off the upcoming
celebrations of the fifth annual Kinnopen Feest.
Heather Stinson, 17, of Clinton is the
daughter of Mrs. Verna Hedley. She is a
Grade 11 student at CHSS andhopes to pur-
sue a career in advertising. Heather works
for Gord Dale as a construction flag lady. In
her spare time she reads. Her sponsor is
Pepo's Restaurant.
Christine Davis, 18, of Vanastra
Davis. of Mr. and Mrs. Barryavis. She
is a Grade 12 student at CHSS and is looking
forward to a future in the work force.
Christine has done volunteer work as a Can-
dy Striper at the Clinton Public Hospital.
Her hobbies are curling and crocheting. Her
sponsor is Pepi's.
Shana Hutchings, 16,Qof RR 3, Clinton is the
daughter of Grace Hutchings. She is in
Grade 11 at CHSS and plans to -farther her
education at college for a career in social
services. Shana works at the Huronview kit-
chen, has done volunteer work as a Candy
Striper at Clinton Hospital, plays baseball
and the piano. Her sponsor is Damien's
Restaurant.
Jeanette Raidt, 17, of Clinton is the daughter
of Jack and Elizabeth Raidt. She attends
London District Christian Secondary School
in Grade 12. She plans on a career in interior
design. Jeanetts plays soccer, baseball and
is involved in track and field. She sews,
reads, plays piano and belongs to a church
youth group. She also works at Willy's
Burgers, 1er sponsor.
Marg Miller, 21, of Clinton is the daughter of
Andy and Phyllis Miller of Exeter. Marg has
lived in Clinton for a year and manages New
Orleans Pizza. She is taking part in the
Klompen Feest Queen contest as an effort to
become more involved in the community.
Marg plays baseball, tennis and hockey in
her spare time. She's active in fitness
groups and works in ceramics.

Nancy Verbeek, 20, is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Peter Verheek of RR 1 Belgrave. A
graduate of Goderich Distract Collegiate In-
stitute, she's now studying hairdk essing in
Kitchener. On weekends Nancy works at th
Blue Fountain Restaurant in Clinton, her
sponsor. Spare time interests include swim-
ming and baseball. She's also been a 4-h
Club member.

Diane Nyenhuis, 22, is the daughter of
Frank and Mary Nyenhuis of RR 1 Sebr-
ingville. She,. works . as a RN at Sick
Children's Hospital in Toronto. Diane is
queen of the Huron -Perth New Canadian
Club, her sponsor, and was runner-up in the
Ontario pageant last year. Diane's hobbies
include needlework, swimming, bicycling
and guitar.
Chris Caldwell, 16, of Clinton is the daughter
of Wes and Mary Ann Chambers. She is a
Grade 11 student at CRSS and works at
Bartliff's' Restaurant, her sponsor. Chris
hopes to become a child psychologist. She
enjoys baseball and rock music.

Melissa Segeren, 19, is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. John Segeren of RR 2 Seaforth.
She is studying registered nursing at St.
Clair College in Chatham and is working
towards her Bachelor of Science degree.
Melissa has worked as a ward aid at Huron -
view and hopes to continue her work with
the elderly. She's visited Holland five times,
enjoys swimming, skiing, Dancefit, badmin-
ton and ping pong. Her sponsor is The China
Palace.

Pamela Howard, 25, of Clinton is the
daughter of Myrna and Bill Howard. She
came to Clinton after taking a welding
course. She hoped for work at Bruce
Nuclear Power Development but now works
at the Elm Haven. She enoys the people
aspect of her work. Pamela's an avid
reader, accomplished seamstress and en-
