Q. What do my ushera wear?
A. In a traditional ceremony, the same as
the groom, with the exception of the bouton-
niere. In a contemporary wedding the best
man and ushers may dress a "step down"
from the groom, i.e., U the groom wears a
tailcoat, the other men may wear a short
coat.

wear?
A. The same rules apply to the fathers as
to the ushers and best man.

asked questions and answers.
Q. 'Whet or what decides if the wedding is to
be fOrmaii,serinforMal or informal? ,
A. Those decisions are usually up to the
bride, and are often determined by the
choice of gown she wears and the site of the
ceremony, jt.:Ale wears a long gown with a
train;the wedding is formal. If she selects to
wear only a veil with her gown, the wedding
is considered to be semiformal.
Q. If the wedding. is formal, what do I
wear? •
A. Traditionalists hold out for the grey
cutaway coat and striped trousers. In some
contemporary weddings the groom may opt
for a white tailcoat. For a contemporary
evening formal ceremony the groom may
wear a black or white full dress (tailcoat),
while the traditionalist will wear the classic
white tie and tails.
Q. What do I wear for a semiformal wed-
ding?
A. At a traditional daytime wedding, a
grey stroller with striped trousers. At a con-
temporary daytime wedding, a tuxedo or an
updated stroller. For a traditional evening
ceremony, a black tux or a white dinner
jacket. For a contemporary evening, a tux-
edo of your choice.

clips, wallets, identification bracelets, desk

length of the honeymoon?
A. Both bride and groom. The available
time for the trip and its type are usually
determined by finances and job considera-
tions.
Q. Who provides the bride's bouquet?
A. The groom may buy his bride's bouquet
and also the boutonnieres for best man and
ushers, but often today the bride's family
assumes these obligations.
Q. Who pays for the honeymoon?
A. The groom.
Q. Who pays for apparel rental or outright
purchase of wedding clothes?
A, The groom and members of the wed-
ding party each pay for their own.
