Vice President Judy Stuart led the meeting: She asked each com- mittee head to .explain the function of their group so new Sorority members could choose a committee to work on: Ellen Colson reported that the Ways and Means Committee will sell Singing Valen- tines again this year. Plans are underway for that popular February project. -Singing Valentines were first made available in 1984 and proved to be an overwhelming success. The service chairman asked everyone to help telephone all Block Parents in Clinton, to let them know that if .any problems arise they can callAnne Lavis at 482-3555. Have you forgotten about Story Hour? Every Saturday afternoon from 2:30 - 3:30 at the Clinton Branch Library, children between the ages of three and eight are in- vited to hear some stories and make a craft project to take home. Parents may leave the children there and do an hour of shopping or enjoy a quiet hour browsing through the adult section. Children do not need a library card to par- ticipate in the stories, games, crafts and puzzles, everyone is welcome. Remember Saturday afternoons, 2:30 - 3:30 at the Clin- ton Branch Library. Please note, the Non -Renewable Books (NRB) are scheduled to arrive this week. These are new releases and may be checked out for seven days only.
