the, students from Kindergarten to Grade 8
inclusive, the other for the adults. Be sure to
mark your answer sheet `STUDENT'.
It's hoped that as more people receive
copies of the history book they will put pen
to paper and send in their answers. Please

CLINTON - Police here reported one im-
paired driving charge and two liquor
seizures for the period of Dec. 24 to Jan. 1.
"There were very few problems, said
police. Goderich OPP reported one im-
paired driving charge laid during the period
from Dec. 24 to .Ian. 1 and four liquor
seizures.
The office said the five incidences were
down from last year's total.
Both forces credited the publicity
preceeding the' season with influencing the
low number of charges.
STANLEY TOWNSHIP - A Clinton man
sustained minimal injuries in a one vehicle
crash in Stanley'Township on Jan. 2.
Eldon Schmidt; 29, of 150 North Street,
Clinton, was northbound on Concession 2
when the vehicle proceeded into the east
ditch and rolled over onto its roof.
Hullett Township accident
HULLETT TOWNSHIP - A 1984 Ford
received $1,000 damage and a 1976 GMC
pick up received $350 damage in a two vehi-
cle accident on Jan. 7.
The Goderich OPP reporter: that Shannon
McClinchey, 18, was driving the pick up on
County Road 25, east of Hullett Sideroad 35-
36 when she and Lila Proctor, 20, of
Belgrave, collided.
There were no injuries in the accident.

Town man is guest artist
The Rotary Club of Goderich fs pleased to
announce that Robert Risiling will conduct
Orchestra London in the segpnd concert of
the 1984-85 series.
The concert will be staged at North. Street
United Church on Saturday, January 12
beginning at 8.15 p.m.
Goderich's own Blake Smith will be the
guest artist for this performance as he will
perform on the saxaphone, making his con-
cert debut with this reknowned orchestra.
Tickets for the concert are available at
the Bank of Commerce, Campbell's, Kings
