Stydents taking this course will discov-
er and develop their writing skills..They
• will be encouraged to read daily and
keep a journal.
Each week, essays on a variety of
topics will be written at home and
brought to class for constructive criti-
cism in a relaxed atmosphere. Also
offered are introductions to the poem
and the short story.
In order to fully benefit from the
course, participants should be pre-
pared to set aside two hours daily for
study, reading and revision.
