HURONVIEW - Thanksgiving Monday

leisurely time here, but some went out for
the day with family and friends. Thanks to
the kitchen staff, who prepared a delicious
turkey dinner with all the trimmings.
Anglican Communion was held in the chapel

Simmons.. Frank Bissett presided at the
organ for this service.
The auditorium was filled on October 10,
as residents celebrated the October
birthdays. The Women's Institute from
Ethel and Molesworth was m charge of the
program. To get the party going, everyone
was treated to a medley of numbers played
on the accordion by Grace Ross,
accompanied on the piano by Alf Sutton.
Ethel Sutton delighted everyone with two
very fine solos, accompanied by her
husband Alf at the piano. Ethel, Grace and
Alf led in a sing -along of old favorites. Ethel
sang again and included numbers from the
Goldmine Medley. The program came to a
close with more selections played by Grace

grounds, and many of Clinton's early
settlers were buried there, including the
village's first physician, Dr. Lepier, and the
first school teacher, Mr. Alexander
Osbaldeston. Much of Clinton's history is
