:('(oral Susie lovers with many enjoyable
concert' sinee the choir was formed in the
fall loll 1930, under the auspices of the Blyth
Festival. Over the years, the choir has per-
fortned styles and modes from all points on
the musical spectrum, pleasing their au-
diences with well-known classics and also
introducing them to exciting new works.
▪ In choosing the repertoire for this special
celebration concert, the choir director was
guided by a poll of "favorites" from present
and former choir members. The result is a
concert that ranges from 'Mozart's Ave
Verum and Pachelbel's Canon In D to
Farewell to Nova Scotia, Cole Porter's Let's
Do It, and they Beatles' medley from Sgt.
Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

for musical comedy play
BLYTH - Ever had one of those days at

your story. Writers from the company will
be writing a new musical comedy this
winter that will tell the story of working peo-
ple and their problems.
As part of the process, Theatre Circle is
holding a contest to find the best (or worst)
story about earning a living. In 100 words or
less, tell. the story of your job or of a par-
ticularly bad day you've had on the job.
Send it to Theatre Circle and if yours is the
best story, you'll win two season's tickets
for Theatre Circle productions next spring.
