Being a little kinder was the sermon topic
at the United Church on September 30 when
Rev. Stan McDonald spoke of how, as
Christians, people need to shosw more
kindness, concern, and respect for others.
-The children's story was Control; using a
radio as an example Mr. McDonald showed
how he could control the radio by the knob,
so people must control their tongues by
minds and hearts.
Rita Scholl greeted the congregation and
Dennis Martin, Mervyn Fields, Donald
Stebbins and Ross Veal were the ushers.
Trudie Rosseboom and Gail Reid were in
charge of the Baby and Toddler Care.
The flowers at the front of the church were
placed in memory of Andrew Bell by his
sister and brother-in-law Ernie and Olga
Chipchase and also in honor of the wedding
of Raye Jacobe to Jean Cole which took
place in the church on Saturday.
