Lois van Vliet, the new owner, worked at Baiton's for 13 years and has had a desire to go into business for herself for the last few years. Mrs. van Vliet has merchandise ranging from 1928 jewellery to Cabbage Patch Kids- clothes. Although she is going to keep basically the same line, she has added Pot Pourri. Mrs. William Fenton presented the study on the Life for good people and Mrs. Walter Scott was in charge of the worship session. Ladies study town's past SUMMERHILL - The monthly meeting of Summerhill Ladies' Club was held on September 12 at the home of Joanne Salver - da. President, • Lorna Ellis, opened the meeting with an account of the town of Clin- ton industries 100 years ago. Seventeen members answered the roll call by relating trips taken this past sum- mer.
