Bayfield parks make campers
For those of you who enjoy camping,

BluewaterCampground
One of Bayfield's most popular camping
establishments is the Bluewater
Campground. Approximately 10 years old,
the camping area offers 112,sites.
Visitors may enjoy an outdoor pool, a
children's playground, horseshoe pits and
the nearby nine hole golf course. The course
has 18 tees, a refreshing 19th hole and a
restaurant.
Bluewater Campground is located on
Highway 21, just north of the village. ,
Harbor Lights
Harbor Lights Campground offers tourists
a beautiful view of the harbor and close
proximity to the beach. The campground
can facilitatemotor homes and has 12 tent
and trailer sites.

north the Bayfield River off Highway 21.
The Old Homestead
The Old Homestead has 250 sites and two
swimming pools. It is a pioneer type park
with modern facilities. The Old Homestead
has planned activities for the campers such
as baseball games, lawn darts and
basketball.
The Old ° Homestead is located on the
Bayfield Line, one mile east of Highway 21.
Pine Lake
Pine Lake Camp has 400 sites and is open
year round: The camp features a whirlpool,
sauna, an indoor pool, plus two manmade
lakes for some=excellent fishing,
A recreational supervisor plans activities
such as tennis tournaments and baseball
games. Pine Lake Camp also has a
miniature golf course and in the winter
offers snowmobilling and cross country
skiing.
Pine Lake Camp is two miles north of
Bayfield and one mile east on the Telephone
Road in a densely wooded area of Goderich
Township.

Sugar Bush Campground
Own -Al -by the campers, this campground,
situated to the rear of the Sugar Bush Inn,
has 125 shaded lots that are fully serviced,

for its fail hardwood trees that are situated
on three levels and separated by a winding
stream.
The campground is considered a year-
round facililty. It' provides swimming,
shuffleboard and saunas in the summer and
cross-country skiing in the winter. Sites are
available for the season or for daily or
weekly camping.
Wildwood by the\River Bayfield offers
campers 300 sites. Tennis, shuffleboard and
a swimming pool are only some of the
activities that ' happen in the camp. A
recreation director plans activities to keep
the campers active.
Wildwood by the River is open year round
and is situated one and a half miles east of
Bayfield on County Road 3.
Campers, cottagers and boaters enjoy the
best of two worlds at Bayfield.
Bayfield is their summer vacation spot
