to the services of cable television in the near
future, thanks to a, CRTC ruling.

and Telecommunication Commission
(CRTC) granted Mitchell-Seaforth Cable TV
permission Winston :cable ;in the villages

to operate m Hensall and neighboring
Brussels.
It is • not. known exactly when the cable
service will be available to residents but

said that the company. will proceed with
hook-ups in Brussels next week. He added
that the decision on which town will receive
the cable next is not known at this tune. -
On November 29, 1983, Steve Ward from
Mitchell -S aforth' Cable TV received
approval in principle from the Blyth PUC to
go up with with themove.

At that .time, Mr. Ward explained the
cable system would include a 'completely
self-contained satellite dish that would be
positioned in the core of the village. The. -

lottery planned
WINGHAM - A special lottery, organized
by a Wingham District Hospital committee,
hopes to raise $80,000 for a new building
program.
Plans are underway to sell 5,000 tickets at
$20 each. The lottery will award monthly
prizes of $1,000 from the first 11 months,
with a grand prize of a $10,000 car to be
drawn in the last month.
The committee has set a target of $400,000
to be raised locally toward the $1.75 million
cost of the new emergency and outpatient
wing.

area from July 3 -14th. These delegates are
taking part in an Open House Canada
Exchange and 15 4-11 Members from Alberta
will be visiting Huron County from July 19 to
30th.
