the, meeting. She said a few words as a
tribute to the late Sarah Storey? a devoted
member of the ACW, as well as organist and
prayer partner to Rev. and Mrs. Bauchman.
Rev. Reynolds also paid a tribute to Sarah.
Mrs. Miller read the scripture and Medita-
tion. Prayers were said in unison and Mrs.
Miller thanked Mrs. Wise for the use of her
home and welcomed the ladies to the last
Cliff and Norma Ashton were married 50 years ago, on June 6.. They, along with their
children, Mrs. Jim (Shirley) Comerford of Barrie, Mrs. Don (Marilyn) Forbes of RR 2,
Clinton and Keith of Winchester, held an open house on June 3 at the Goderich Township
Hall, The Ashtons and their attendants of 50 years ago, Barrett and Marion Taylor
received the guests. A family dinner was held following the open house and guests
included their grandchildren, great grandson Jason Forbes who celebrated his first
birthday on June 6, as well as Mr. Ashton's brother Harvey, his seven sisters and their
husbands.
Fiddler followers attend service

Hostesses for the evening were Edith Bell
and Eleanor Thomson. The offering was
received by Winnie Skea and Jean Snell.
United Church
A large number of people from different
parts of Ontario, attending the Fiddler's
Weekend. in Hensall shared in the morning
worship of the United Church when the con-
gregation held their morning worship in
conjunction with the Fiddler's Weekend in
the Community Centre.
Rev. Stan McDonald conducted the ser-
vice and the Junior Choir, along with the
Varna Singers led in the worship through
music. The Varna Singers inspired the con-
gregation with their four Gospel 'numbers.
The Junior Choir with Belva Fuss at the
piano sang with Jennefer Taylor, Robert
Gackstetter and Thomas Scotchmer taking
the solo parts.

Paul.'Alexander greeted the congregation,
and Harold Parsons, Ross Sararas, Donald
Stebbins, and Bill Fuss were the ushers. The
flowers at the front of the worship centre
were placed in memory of Roy.tonsitt by
the family. Next Sunday, .will .be Senior
Citizens .Sunday in the congregation when
all Seniors of the district are invited to come
and worship together.
Rev. McDonald attended the 25th anniver-
sary of Court Fascination, Canadian
Foresters, Benmiller on Monday evening.
Queensway News
The continuing story of Helen Keller on
cassette started out.Monday's activities. In
tr; afternoon ,the residents enjoyed
themselves at bino.
On Tuesday afternoon Church service was
conducted by Rev. Kenneth Knight assisted
at the piano by Blanche Dougall.
